Not an optimistic updates post.
1) Obviously, I did not get that job.
2) I just gave a bunch of resumes to a friend of my dad. Maybe she'll pull through, but I doubt it.
3) A new round of French just started and there's actually a lawyer in my class. The goal for next class is to hit him up for a job. I must be a huge pain in the ass to be around.
4) I am officially out of job search ideas. It's time to find work downstate. Unless a job magically appears, I'll be saying goodbye to Chicago in the near future.
5) It's not even 11:00am and I'm already fighting the urge to throw my stapler through my wall. This is not going to be a good day.
6) At least I'm well rested. Yesterday, I gave up on my day and went to sleep at around 9:00pm.

ReplyDeletethe other day my mom suggested that they rent out my condo and i move back home.
i flipped shit. literally went into a damn tailspin.
pretty sure she is now afraid to speak to me ever again.
on the brightside - if she's not speaking to me she can't rent out my home, right?
Give it another couple of years and moving back home will become one of your better options. Sorry, I'm still in a ridiculously pessimistic mood.
