I was a little hungover this morning from drinking alone last night. Actually, I'm was mostly just tired because I stayed up until 11:30pm, which is way past my bedtime. I'm old.
Anyway, I was about to do a post on the pros and cons of being hungover at work when I realized that my main "pro" was going to be, "My morning flew by! I must have been going in and out of consciousness because I barely remember those hours happening."
Is it bad that I would rather be semi-conscious for most of my week than actually remember the time I spend at work? I'm pretty sure it's bad.
I can't say I ever came to work hung over (although if you count baby-induced sleep hangovers, I did), but whenever my work attitude got too bad, I'd buy a Kindle book and read it on my computer. I wouldn't ever do it for very long, just long enough to feel I wasn't getting completely screwed over. My output never dipped, but it made me feel better.
