Having pneumonia while unemployed left me a little home-bound while I was recovering. This is my girlfriend's reaction after seeing me for the first time in a couple of weeks: "So, have you decided to stop shaving now that you're a shut-in?"
In my defense, it hadn't been all that long since the last time I shaved, and people should just be grateful that I'm still...
Actually, the girlfriend might have a valid point on this one. It happens from time to time.
