At the very least, people in sales seem to have a lot of respect for the fact that I can sell office supplies door-to-door. For instance, the other day, I was in an office that sells some form of logistics. After talking to me for a while, the guy told me that his company is hiring and told me to give him a call if I want a job.
At this point, I definitely want the job. Even though I'm having fun doing what I'm doing, my company is a little shady and I'm making next to nothing. Needless to say, I left this guy a voicemail and emailed him my resume. With any luck, I'll be selling logistics sometime soon.
