Attorney 1 died a few months ago. She was the senior partner at our firm and had a huge corner office, which has been unused since she died. We all thought it would go to the next person to make partner. Nope.
Over the weekend, Business Manager moved all of her stuff into the corner office. I'm no expert, but I'm pretty sure that's not how things are supposed to work. I guess I could be wrong.
I have seen it many times. Business managers are good like that. You should follow the office politics used to become a business manager -- good times.
