Ladies, your bra is not an extra pocket. For those of you who don't believe me, let me say it again. Your bra IS NOT an extra pocket.
I mention this because, today, I saw some fat lady reach into her bra and pull out her wallet, keys and cell phone. She didn't just reach in and pull them out. She had to go fishing. It was a solid ten seconds of "feeling around" before she was able to locate all of her stuff. Hands down the grossest thing I've seen in a while.
I know, you see women in movies pull things out of their bras all the time. This does not make it appropriate. Odds are they are way better looking than you, and they are pulling out something appropriately sized, i.e., not their car keys. So, unless you are crazy hot and stashing a few hundred dollar bills, don't even consider it. Even then, maybe just bring a wallet.
Clearly, you haven't lived in NYC. When there's pickpockets in the crowd & you're a woman by yourself w/a lot of $, you don't carry a purse that could be snatched at any second (men do wallets, not any woman I know of). I'm not about to go in some unfamiliar area by myself w/a purse or even carry that on top of MORE things, thank you. That makes you a target.

Even if she were hot, if she pulls a purse sized amount of crap out of her bra, I'm out.
